The Roomer 5200 has the same functions as the Singel 5100 but can also move the patient between rooms in one sequence. The lift is suspended from two belts, both of which are connected when moving from room to room. This makes the transfer horizontal in a smooth and controlled movement with no height loss. The simplicity of the action is easy for beginners to pick up and makes training very straight forward.
No modifications are required to door frames or walls because the lift moves from one rail to another. This approach keeps installation costs to a minimum, requires only one cassette unit to serve both rooms and means that safetly features, such as fire doors, are not compromised. The Roomer 5200 has the same functions as the Singel 5100, including telescopic hanger for quick harness adjustment, dual-speed lifting for reduced waiting time, smart belt tension guard and constant lifting speed with soft stop-start mechanism.
