Entrapment is a common problem in beds with side rails. We have tried to overcome this by producing cotside bumpers with the MHRA's anti-entrapment requirements in mind.

Most profiling beds have full length wooden rails; these bumpers have been designed to fit each rail neatly. Top and bottom pads are connected by strong see through mesh which provides additional flow of air, improved visibility for the patient and also "concertinas" neatly when the rails are lowered.
