Standard Dali Nursing Bed

The standard Dali comes with a metal slatted platform and a choice of metal or wooden side rails. The platform is adjustable in height from 40cm to 80cm.

Dali Low Entry

With a lowest platform height of 23cm, this bed helps promote fall prevention without the added restriction of side rails during the night.

Dali Wash

Ideal for machine washing and decontamination, the Dali Wash is protected again corrosion and features drain holes to facilitate drying.

Extension piece

The Dali Nursing Bed can be extended by 20cm using a metal bed extension piece, to suit the taller user.

Infills are available to be used in conjunction with exiting mattress and bed extension.

Assist grab rail attached to mattress platform for safe transfer

Assist Grab Rail

The Assist Grab Rail accessory provides support for clients when moving in and out of bed and fixes securely to the side of the mattress platform. 

This rail is designed for use with the Dali range of nursing beds and is not approved for use with any other bed. A risk assessment for the client and bed should always be undertaken. 

A mesh cover is also available to cover any gaps and prevent entrapment.

Safety Bumpers

Bumpers can be added to the Dali to increase safety.

We have a range of bumpers available, including the bed-end bumper as shown here.

The bed-end bumper is 104cm long x 50cm wide x 3cm deep. The outer cover is blue PU Polyurethane. The inner is combustions modified foam. The bumper attached to the Dali by wrapping around the bed end and attaching with a standard hook and loop velcro.

Beds Standards & Conformity

The Dali Bed conforms to the current standard for nursing beds BS EN 60601-2-52:2010. All our beds have been tested well beyond the minimum requirements. Rather than performing self-certification, our beds are rigorously tested by SIQ, an independent certification and notified body. This provides our customers with independent assurance that our beds will provide many years of safe and reliable service at a low total cost of ownership.
