MySling Repositioning Sheet

Lisclare’s MySling Repositioning Sheet takes the place of the bed sheet and is there to help the carer reposition a patient that is unable to help move themselves.

The repositioning sheet can be used to turn the patient within the bed or transfer them to a stretcher or different bed.  A patient in an ICU setting will often be sedated and many pieces of medical equipment are attached to the patient as part of their life saving treatment.   This makes the turning or repositioning of such a patient even more difficult. The MySling Repositioning Sheet provides a strong, safe, yet more comfortable solution, with a reduced risk of shear and moisture on the patient’s skin.

MySheet

The MySheet (PolyWeave) HDP In-Bed Turning and Positioning System has been designed specifically for High Dependency Patients in an acute care environment.

They are Patient Specific, which means that whilst they are disposed of at the end of a patient’s hospital visit but they are designed to be reused by that specific patient during their stay. This helps to reduce the risk of cross-infection in the hospital. The sheets perform effectively even after up to 10 washes. Spare top draw sheets are sold separately if required.

WendyLett

WendyLett base sheet is a satin sliding sheet available in two colours; white and grey with narrow white stripes, and in many different sizes. The sliding takes place sideways along the direction of the stripes.

WendyLett is intended for users who have difficulties turning in bed. The smooth and silky central part, enables turning with minimal effort. Sliding sideways is made easy without risk of sliding off the bed by the anti-slip material at both sides of the sheet. The material also prevents the user from sliding down in bed.
